Cheating is not acceptable

• An example of cheating is working on projects as a group when the instructions state that it should be done individually without outside help.
• An XE is the same as an E grade, except that it also symbolizes that the E was received because of academic dishonesty.
• Another example of a sanction besides an XE for cheating could be receiving no credit for the project in which you were dishonest or as extreme as expulsion.
• The AIP files are kept in the Dean's office.
• The AIP file is destroyed once the student graduates or after 6 years of the creating date of the AIP file.
• One reason a student should not cheat is because the reason one goes to college is to receive and education and advance in the field they chose to pursue. Not learning your field properly puts you and others at risk of mistakes, errors, and stress that could cost massive amounts of time or lives.
